About Us

We’re a Boston web design company. We have worked with clients from every corner of the business world, from professional service firms to retail and nonprofit organizations, locally, nationally and internationally. Whether you’re doing business around the corner or around the globe, our Boston web design firm can help you leverage the web.

How We Work

Our approach with clients is to learn the nuts and bolts of their business and their business goals. We then recommend the best possible solution for our clients. Our Boston web design firm was founded by a business person, so we do not approach your needs from a design or a development bias. We think about your website from the perspective of a business owner. We try to recommend the best, most effective solution for clients based on their stated objectives.

We will develop a design, development and overall web marketing strategy customized for your business’s needs. We can also host your website and provide maintenance and support.

Our Design Process

We follow a web design process that is broken down into several stages. In order to ensure that you get the site you want, some of the required information for each step is provided by you, the client.

  1. Design Questionnaires – Our Boston web design firm will provide the client with a simple design questionnaire to assist us in developing initial designs for the project. The questionnaire is brief, but very important. Work on your project does not begin until we have received your completed questionnaire. We will then use your answers for guidance during our development process.
  2. Project Design Phase — This phase of the project begins once we have gathered the required information and source materials from the client. In this phase we will create two homepage concepts. The client will review the concepts. Once we have chosen a design direction, we will begin designing the interior pages of the site.
  3. Sitemap Review and Content Delivery — While the design phase is underway, we will collaborate with the client to develop a final sitemap and provide a set of content templates the client can use to deliver the required content to us. We would like to get content for each page and section of the site, but understand that the content is a work in progress. Therefore, we may use placeholder text or draft content initially on the site as final content is created by the client. If the client chooses to have us develop the content, we will gladly do so.
  4. Finalize Design – We will give internal page designs and finalized homepage designs to the client for final review. We will also allow the client to make edits and revisions as required before finalizing the design phase of the project.
  5. Development Phase — Once we have finalized the designs for the homepage and internal pages of the site, we will begin converting the design files to HTML and CSS based web pages. This process will involve coding the template system to be used on the site and creating the required functionality for each of the pages. This process will happen on a private “beta” site that the client will be able to access via a standard web browser. This will allow the client to track the development of the site as it progresses. And the client can make recommendations for changes before finalization.
  6. Content Implementation — Once we have a working version of the template system for the site on the “beta” server, we will begin deploying all of the content provided by the client. Or we will provide content based on direction from the client.
  7. Completion and Training — Once the content has been deployed on the site, we will prepare the site for launch and begin training the client on the use of the content management system and various functionality present on the new website. Once the site is “live”, we will provide 30 days of free support and maintenance to help ensure the client is comfortable using and managing the new website. After this 30-day period, we offer inexpensive, optional support and maintenance packages for ongoing website management.
